How BJP’s is using Machiavellian & Hobbesian Politics to sustain their regime.

On the morning of August 15, 2018, the 72nd Anniversary of Independence, PM Modi was addressing the nation from the Red Fort. While he spoke about the ambitious space mission of India, a kilometre away from the ramparts of the Red Fort, BJP leader I.P. Singh stealthily walked into the historic Jama Masjid and raised provocative slogans under the vibrant shade of the tri-colour. Reflective of a deeper malice, this incident happens to be just one among the many indicators of a greater plan of de-secularising the plural nation honed by the people of India.
“A Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic” is ironically a line from the preamble of the Constitution of India. Contrary to this notion, “Hindu Rashtra is a Cultural Concept –a way of the future of India that is Hindustan”, tweeted the BJP MP Subramanian Swamy on 26th October 2015. “There is nothing wrong in the concept of a Hindu Rashtra ” asserted the monk-politician and the now UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath on April 5, 2016. The BJP Supremo Amit Shah himself refused to comment on the statement of the RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat about India being a Hindu Rashtra. Describing PM Modi as an “Avatar purush”– reincarnation of a deity– BJP MLA Surendra Singh expressed publically, “by 2024 India will be a Hindu Rashtra ”.
The defiance of the Constitution of India, as well as the Idea of India, is clearly evident. So is the non-adherence to the same. The desire for creating a Hindu- supremacist state has already been expressed overtly, bravely and very passionately. The on-ground preparations have commenced. The tacit and sublime journey of translating India’s secular might into saffronised fascism had begun much before we came to know of it. The plan of action seemingly appears to have been very meticulously drafted, perfectly calibrated and properly orchestrated onto the streets. The fascist dream of an Akhand Bharat functioning as a Hindu Rashtra was visualised much before the dawn of a secular India. But machinations in realising this dream gained impetus very late, perhaps as late as 2014. A Master- Plan was drafted and the first step of which was to break and bruise the communal harmony of this country to the point of no recovery.
Soon after the sweeping victory of BJP in the 2014 general elections, the Ghar Wapsi campaign gained momentum in which non-Hindus were humiliated, harassed and abused. The mania later culminated at forced mass conversions. Adding on to the woes, the Love-Jihad slogan and a vigilante moment to counter the same was launched. Interfaith couples were tortured and tormented to an extent that some of them either had to succumb their relationships or their lives to the overbearing bullies. The National Anthem controversy was raked up to further demonise a particular community. Read More herehttps://www.capturedillusions.net/Home/EMagazine
